Baby, It’s Cold Outside

With the weather we are having here, the 27th can’t get her soon enough. It’s hard to celebrate your birthday when you can’t leave the house due to being iced in and officials asking everyone to stay off the roads. The RV is staying nice and toasty despite the cold temperatures. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any warmer anytime soon as the weather forecaster is predicting the low to be in the single digits tonight and then down to zero or below on Wednesday night. Just 10 more days and we will be on our way to Florida. I am so looking forward to our full-time life on the road. We’ll be spending a couple of weeks in the north end of Florida around Pensacola before heading south along the coast and down to the St Petersburg/Tampa area before crossing to the other side to go through Daytona and up the coast line towards Georgia and then on to the Carolina’s before we wind back to Tennessee by the middle of May. I know once we start this adventure our life will never be the same.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

It was a great day today. My baby sent me flowers at work yesterday. I couldn’t wait to get home to photograph them.

Happy Valentine’s Day 2015

I’m beginning to think we should have left a couple of weeks early as the weather in Nashville is COLD! The lows are supposed to hit single digits and possibly zero by Wednesday with highs only in the 30’s. I am so looking forward to some 60 – 70 degree temps. I finished up my curtains today. I was not impressed with the fluffy type that came with the RV, so I added my own touch throughout the RV. In anticipation of leaving and knowing that we would be moving every week to a new location, I got some museum putty stuff that you can use to hold your breakables so that you don’t have to pack everything up every week. With each passing day, the excitement is building as I know it won’t be long before we are on the road really living out our dream. I wish I could take everyone with us, but since we can’t do that, I’ll try to make you feel like your there along for the ride as I post about our adventures.
