In my early photography days, I used a point and shoot camera, but in 2010 I purchased my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D60. In 2015 I upgraded to a Nikon D610 and kept my previous camera for backup. I have trained with the New York Institute of Photography and worked alongside a professional photographer who has helped me to expand my abilities. However, there is always room for growth and learning, which I do every time I have my camera in my hand. I prefer photographing my subjects in natural light as I think the outdoors has much more to offer in the way of backgrounds and natural settings. To further expand my portfolio I also enjoy shooting landscapes, architecture and pets. Below are several examples of some of my favorite shots. Although I do not have a home base studio, I still love to do portraits of children, newborns and families whenever an opportunity presents itself. Please contact me if you would like to set up a session.
