In my early photography days, I used a point and shoot camera, but in 2010 I purchased my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D60. In 2015 I upgraded to a Nikon D610 and kept my previous camera for backup. I have trained with the New York Institute of Photography and worked alongside a professional photographer who has helped me to expand my abilities. However, there is always room for growth and learning, which I do every time I have my camera in my hand. I prefer photographing my subjects in natural light as I think the outdoors has much more to offer in the way of backgrounds and natural settings. To further expand my portfolio I also enjoy shooting landscapes, architecture and pets. Below are several examples of some of my favorite shots. Although I do not have a home base studio, I still love to do portraits of children, newborns and families whenever an opportunity presents itself. Please contact me if you would like to set up a session out on the road.

Animals are some of the most majestic creatures and I feel honored to have been able to capture some of the pics that I have through the years of these beauties. Visiting zoos is one of my favorite past times as it gives me the opportunity to see so many breeds of animals that otherwise I would never have the opportunity to see. This is only a sampling of the animals that I have photographed. Feel free to read through my blog posts to find more pics of these beauties and so much more that I have captured through my lens.
