About Me

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Greg. We share our tiny home with two dachshunds, Oscar and Harley. We recently put down stakes in the state of Texas on beautiful Lake Fork. Living in our tiny house gives us the freedom to live frugally, so we can have more experiences enjoying the things we love.

Our mission is to live a simple live while experiencing as much of life as we can. My philosophy is – “You only live once, so make the most of it while you can as you never know when today might be your last.”

I started this website so I could document our RV  journey when we were on the road traveling through Florida and the New England states. In addition, I use this website as a way to share all THE PIECES OF MY LIFE including my photography, handicrafts, recipes and more.

 HOW WE MET

We met online in November 2013, fell in love and got married March 1, 2014. We were both widows when we met and I had no intentions of getting married, but apparently God had a different plan, so here we are.

I was born and raised in a small town north of Pensacola called Molino, Florida. I moved many times in my young adult life and in 1997 I moved to Tallahassee, Florida. After earning a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Flagler College in 2009 I moved to Nashville, TN where I earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).  I have worked in the financial industry for over 15 years. My husband grew up in the hills of West Virginia. After high school he served for 17 years in the US Army and then went into armed security for about 13 years before getting his VA disability.

We both share the same love for fishing, hunting, bowling, traveling and reading. In addition, I enjoy sewing, crocheting, loom knitting, cross stitching, cooking and a good DIY project.

Our RV journey began in November 2014 after we sold our sticks and bricks home. The RV travel portion of our journey began in March 2015. We traveled through Florida in 2015 and then through the New England states in 2016. You can find all the ins and outs of our travels in the blog section. Now we’re in 2017 and life is taking us on another journey.
